Our Care

Our core service is to deliver the highest possible quality and personalised residential care to people living with Huntington's Disease and other acquired neurological disorders.

 

These problems range from residents living with Huntington's Disease, those with long-term acquired head injuries, Alzheimer's disease and to rarer inherited genetic neurological disorders. 

HMT-CARE also offers short and longer term rest-bite care for people and families living with neurological diseases, and we are in the process of developing an outreach community service to support families and individuals living at home too.

 

We are strongly integrated into the local community and services in Herne Bay and East Kent, and have a very close and vital relationship with the local HD Society and the wider National HD community.
