About Us

"Her and Me Together-CARE Ltd", (HMT-CARE Ltd), was the brain child of and set up by Miss Linda Ironside in 2001.

Previously, Linda was CEO of the larger Angivin company, which was dedicated to the care of people with a wide variety of Learning Disabilities, who were being transferred into community homes due to the closure of large residential institutions during the 1990's.

Through her long experience as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse and managing residential care for people living with learning disabilities, Linda came to realise that there was also a need for small, responsive and personalised residential care services for those with Huntington's Disease and other acquired neurological conditions.

Since then, HMT-Care Ltd has bought and adapted two principle homes, and one annex (The Lodge at Orchard House), with a total of 21 bedrooms across the two sites in the lovely sea-side resort of Herne Bay in East Kent.

Linda is supported on the Board by Mr Paul Glennister as Finance Director, and Dr Martin Rogers as Director of governance and stability.
